Since then, many of them notice, to assess the weight of this battle. I believe that all personal feelings aside, it’s a decent Matchup and style-wise Ortiz to win the WBC belt in a monumental battle of the year deserves the performance against Berto.
Ortiz returns to his brutal ways to fight aggressively against the sea and with constant pressure, which will play well in defense of Floyd’s masterpiece of a technical nature, which will probably be well after the evening’s work itself open and throw more than usual.
Floyd, bought a new luxury pimps duster to dust the WBC belt, it plans to acquire a comfortable easy decision.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25 KO’s) is saying on his twitter account that he’ll be taking on newly crowned WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz (29-2-2, 22 KO’s) on September 17th at a still to be determined venue. This is big fight, one that is a lot better than Mayweather’s nemesis Manny Pacquiao’s fights against aging fighters Shane Mosley and Juan Manuel Marquez. Ortiz is considered one of the top guys in the welterweight division and might be as good as the number #3 guy. Mayweather hasn’t fought since beating Mosley a year ago last May by a lopsided 12 round decision. Since then, Mayweather has been taking it easy but has having legal problems left and right.
Ortiz is coming off of an impressive 12 round decision over WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto last April in a fight that saw both guys get knocked down twice. Ortiz got up off the deck twice to take the fight to Berto and eventually wear him down with a massive amount of shots.Boxing fans have wondered why Pacquiao isn’t fighting Ortiz instead of going after guys like Mosley and Marquez. The Marquez fight made sense 2 or 3 years ago when Marquez was still relatively young, but now he’s almost 40 and was knocked down in his last fight against Michael Katsidis. Marquez doesn’t look like the same fighter he was three or even two years ago.
